Arthur Grey, the eccentric billionaire, gathered the world’s greatest scientists.
"I want to build a cloud mansion," he declared.
The scientists blinked. "A house? In the sky?"
"Yes," Arthur said. "On an actual cloud."
They laughed. But Arthur’s paychecks didn’t.
Two years later, they did it. A floating mansion, anchored to nothing but mist.
Arthur moved in. He threw a party. He danced on thin air.
Then, one day, the cloud dissolved.
And Arthur did too.

I've got Gatsby on the brain thanks to my upcoming book release, Green Light: A Gatsby Cycle, and that idea definitely inspired this eccentric story. Check out some of my Gatsby readings as of late on my book review blog, How I Feel About Books.
I had to laugh...no surprise on the disappearing act! Well done...
